The 14th is a blind tee shot up and over the brow of a hill, with a large bunker on the right of the fairway at around 240 yards from the tee so the drive must be accurate. Trees also wait left and out of bounds right for any wayward tee shots. The approach is difficult with the fairway down to the green sloping from left to right towards a bunker. Any approach shots over shooting the green will leave a difficult chip up to an elevated green. This is the start of Seaham’s difficult finishing stretch.
