Andrew Blunt is the Head Professional at Seaham Golf Club starting on 1st March 2004, so has now been with us for over 20 years. With the able assistance from Dan and Michael in the shop, the service offered is second to none for both members and visitors. The business is now so extensive there is no longer any reason for any member to ‘need’ to look anywhere else for equipment.
Any proposed equipment purchases may be tried in The Golf Studio on the simulator which takes the guesswork out of buying new equipment.

Custom Fit
A major factor in purchasing golf equipment now is custom fitting. This has moved on quite considerably since it became a ‘thing’ but we have our fully trained fitter in Michael who will cater for your every need. Consideration is now given to shaft length, shaft flex, shaft weight, lie angle, loft angle, grip size, grip style and set make up (whether it be 3-SW, hybrid 3, 4 iron-SW, Hybrid 4 & 5, 6 iron-PW, plus specialist wedges …)

Repairs
A fast and effective repair service is in operation. The regripping service is a ‘ready next day’ service (time restraints allowing). Re-shafts are also available but will take a little longer
We also have our own loft and lie machine where we can check lofts & lies and alter if required. We recommend these are checked at least once a year because it is a well known fact that iron lofts £ lies can changed over period of time constantly hitting golf balls.
Coaching
In his time as a PGA Professional Coach, Andrew has built up a sound teaching technique which will be helpful for the majority of golfers. It is very simplistic so people can take on board all of the technicalities of the golf swing but without all of the scientific jargon
Coaching Sessions: £30 per ½ hour
All lessons now take place in The Golf Studio (other than putting and bunkers) so the you don’t need to worry about poor weather conditions.
